Is it possible to provide a non-VR version of this video?

frodo

how dod i watch this as a non VR version?

Mi Feetes

Awesome stuff! Keep it up!

JMSlider

Wow, really stunning work. Amazing!

JC Denton

This is very impressive work. All your work is. Hope to see more VR stuff!

BigPeter20

Stupid question...How do I see this in VR? what equipment do I need to purchase?

Always86

Amazing work, I find on the Occulus Rift (original) when she comes in close it causes a bit of crossover between images. I'll try some other settings

Weirdguy

BigPeter20, the easiest way to view in VR is to get one of those $30 frames for a cellphone, and then download a VR movie player app for that phone. However, I recommend getting a true VR headset, but actually to go the route and get the cheapest option, the Oculus Go. Its a standalone headset (no PC needs to be plugged in) and the lack of 6 degrees of movement (aka no walking around, crouching down, leaning forward) is not a problem with VR videos that can't do that stuff anyways. The bad news is that the GO is out of production now. If that isn't an option, then get the more expensive Oculus Quest or Quest 2

Weirdguy

AnlelSzal, do you take requests? Like using Mass Effect girls in videos?

Jess

To some extent that's accurate to life- a person close enough to kiss you is close enough to fall out of focus for your eyes. It can be disorienting since it's not what we expect in VR, but I find it works for the illusion

anielszal

Static parallel lens axes do not allow you to cross your eyes when trying to focus on a very close subject. Manual correction of the IPD (Interpupillary distance) in the headset can alleviate this phenomenon. In scenes where the subject is very close a lot, it is worth setting the IPD a little narrower.

Quest 2 is a really nice option. You can use it standalone, but if you want to do any PC VR gaming it's a great choice because they've updated it so that you don't even have to use a cable to your PC. It can work with your PC totally wirelessly so you're free to stand up and move around without worrying about getting tangled in wires. This also means you can store all your porn on your PC so storage on the headset won't be as much of an issue.

Holy shit, this is by far the best CGI VR porn video I have ever seen. Facial animations really make or break a video for me and yours are so incredibly detailed, it's incredible. And huge props to the voice actress too.

Ennui

what type of VR viewing? 180 or fisheye?

anielszal

The common porn video specs, as well as mine are SBS (side-by-side) 3D 180. After setting this, set the optimal IPD manually. Few comments above we were mentioning the IPD issue with Always Absent.

The quality of your work is fantastic, but a couple of tips to fix some things that blur your work. Mainly to reduce compression artifacts that are excessive. - Don't get the character too close to the camera, pull it back 5cm, not everyone can look that close. - Use a denoiser on the render. Grain is very evident in some elements. I don't use maya, but I guess there will be some way to use it or pass it to the render layers to another program that does it. - Don't move the camera, render the background separately at higher quality in a still image and mount it separately in the video. It's a win-win situation. You will render in a third of the time and we will get more quality. - If you do that you will also eliminate the background noise and the compression will thank you very much. - Using a completely static background would also help compression. - Avoid gradients and lensflare (they look weird, the human eye doesn't see them and they screw up compression). - Use another compressor or higher quality. I don't think H264 is very efficient with 4k videos, look at VP10 or H265. Or give us a near raw video so we can enjoy it. The advantage I see to this technique is to be able to have a completely perfect image because it comes from a render instead of the poor quality of some VR cameras. But because of the compression it looks like I'm looking at almost 720p.

Thanks for the tips and time to write it all down. - The grain you see in Judy's background is a sampling issue of the chrome-like surfaces with blurred reflections. These reflections use multiple ray-bounce. I definitely plan to avoid such surfaces because they cost a lot more than they are worth. - The mounted stills you suggested as static backround is the same what I've done at Nico. There I was playing with optimizations like this, but I don’t always think it’s a good idea to save on render. There will be scenes where the camera will be static, but there will also be scenes where it will move much-much more. It depends on the interaction of the characters, not the rendering time. Personally, I find a lot of liveAction VR videos very boring, where the camera is completely static all along and the partner is far from us due to the optimal IPD. I think, that's what POV videos are for. So the varied movement of the characters, along with the resulting contingency, is far more important for me than choosing a comfortable middle ground. - Although the human eye does see lensflare hoops, in VR I will use flares with the core glow only, on a very low gamma for the exact same reason you mentioned - I also really don’t like the way they wash out the contrast with all the details and ruin the compression. All in all, I don’t think we should be afraid that grain would dominate so much in the future, but of course I’ll try other compressors as well.

Did you use a static in Nico video? why then so much temporal noise in some parts like the sofa if the BG is static? About the movement, I do VR videogames and not all people but (with some technical exceptions) any movement that user don't do or expect will be a mandatory dizziness I have done a test compressing the video with resolve and h265 give near to 33% less size that h264.

Jarl Øistein Norsleie

Best video, I have seen. Didn't have the same effect that VR ussaly has on me with making me sick.

anielszal

Since all the pixel values in Nico's background in the rendered sequence are the same along the entire timeline, the noise is caused by the H264 bitRate value. Target-Max bitRate was 24-32 Mbps. I raised this to 48-64. And since I encoded again with VBR 2pass, the file didn't become twice as big. The size has increased from 608Mb to 1GB. There is a significant difference in noise, but of course it can still be noticed. I updated the MEGA link at Nico!

i did a little test, denoise the video and compress with a lot of more quality in h265. total 280mb without any temporal noise in BG and better quality in general

krace

Any plans on "her pov" Maybe not this video, but on others?

anielszal

I'm sorry but I do not plan to make POVs, because a completely different character animation is required for POV versions. In order to place the POV camera (with an actual focalLength), the interaction of the characters should be completely changed and reduced.

Charisma

This is pure art, if i had more money i would pledge much more. You deserve to be a top creator. Thank you

Silent1121

im just curious but did u create this judy charachter model yourself?

anielszal

It may differ from the original in many places: - The whole body is own modeling, tattoos are resampled. - The lips and lashes are also remodeled with new texture. - The head has been retopologized. 80-90% of the face texture has been resampled from the game’s textures. Makeup has changed in many places. - No skinWeight or any kind of rigging data was used from the original.

Silent1121

Thats what I thought so I had to ask lol..I could definitely tell because she looks so much better than any of the other Judy stuff I have seen yet

Charisma

The eye contact in your work is therapeutic, especially while quarantined. It feels like true intimacy instead of mindless banging. Thank you for the quality presented here

Joey_the_cat

Wooow, this is beyond real. How long did it take you to animate so well and fluid?

Phillips Lee

My only request if it's a reasonable one would be to offer a mirror link outside of Mega, I always have issues downloading from that site especially with Quota issues

M C

Non VR version?
