So pitchmap is basically ableton's "Scale" midi device except produces a more autotuned sound?? Does it also autotune vocals like melodyne?

Jack Blom

yea its like imagine scale but instead of doing in midi ur doing it via FFT spectral processing to realtime audio

the cheapest bet is antares harmony engine which u can get as part of the antares avox package that comes with the auto tune n stuff go check it out on the antares website they do a pretty decent deal but it is pretty much just as expensive in the long run. just more accessible cuz theres a demo / subscription service

actually even better tho if u make use of ableton's stock midi effects like scale and chord u can get pretty similar results!
