Designing a sticker sheet for Stickerapp 🪷 (Patreon)

Hi Patrons !

I was asked by Stickerapp to design a sticker sheet ! It will also be a reward for April or May (depending on how long it takes to finish all the little drawings).

I struggled finding a theme that I liked, and then was inspired by my latest vase mermaid ! I liked the colors, the art nouveau style, the little frog... and felt like it would be perfect for spring too ! So I went with a lake/mermaid/nymph theme. With lots of greens and pinks !

Here's the moodboard for the sticker sheet, all of these are from Pinterest :

I was inspired yesterday and started doodling ideas in my sketchbooks !

I copied some ideas from Pinterest to warm up - also picked a color palette (very close to the one I used for the vase mermaid I did last week, but with pink and no blue (basically, the 4 colors you can see on the right page) :

Water lilies designs (based on art nouveau) :

Looking for nice shapes for stickers !

I like this lotus flower + mermaid design :

And this one as well, inspired by art nouveau aesthetic :

These fishes are from Lake Geneva, which is the lake of my region. I thought I'd pay homage to these guys and include them in the sticker sheet (but with different poses, and fun colors) 🐡

I am not sure if I should paint these on paper or draw everything digitally ! If I like the final sketches I might paint them on paper. I feel like my drawings look better when painted on paper, it feels more natural 😺

That's if for today ! I hope you like the overall theme/aesthetic. I think I'm going to have fun while painting these. I cannot wait to start working on it !

Thanks again for your support on Patreon !! 🥰🧡✨

Hugs,
