Sleeping Beauty for Gallery Nucleus ✨ Process + Preview (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

I just finished this painting for the Sleeping Beauty Anniversary show at Gallery Nucleus in June ! It's a show to honor Eyvind Earle, who was a background artist for Disney in the 50's. If you don't know his work, you should take a look, it's very inspiring and so unique and elegant !

I was so happy when they asked me to be part of this show, because Sleeping Beauty is one of my all time favorite Disney movies, especially because of the colors, the shapes, the character design...! I tried my best to make something nice and simple, so I could enjoy the process and the final result !

I didn't take too many pictures, but I did take a pic after each painting session (a painting session is about 2 hours) :

The original painting will be available for sale at the gallery and on their website (I don't know the price yet). I won't be able to turn this one into a print because it's for Disney and they own the rights of this painting, but Gallery Nucleus make prints sometimes, not sure if they'll pick my illustration though ! I'll let you know when they give me more information (I know some of you love Sleeping Beauty like me !!) 🥰
