Hello Patrons,

How have you been ?

It's been a while since I wrote a life update post, so I thought I'd sit down and let you know about what happened recently !

On April 2nd, I sent 20 original paintings to Gallery Nucleus for my upcoming solo show (April 19th - May 4th). In the past 6 months, I have been part of 1 shared exhibition and had 2 solo shows (one in Bordeaux and the next one in LA). I gave 46 paintings in total. I'm going to be transparent with you - I'm exhausted ! It's been hard for me to come up with ideas all year long last year + the first trimester of 2025.

I took an artist portrait with the paintings before sending them out πŸ˜ŒπŸ‘‹

As of today, I haven't painted in a month, and I think I needed some time away from paint and drawing in general. I feel like I have nothing left to give (which I know isn't true - but at the moment I need some time off).
As usual, I don't want to sound like I am complaining because what I have been doing for the past few years has always been my biggest dream ! But I'm starting to feel the fatigue in my body and mind.

So for the past few weeks, I have been going on walks, hiking, spending time with my family, my pets. I haven't drawn anything new in weeks and it's been refreshing for me not to stress about social media and deadlines.

I don't know if you have noticed (if you still see my posts on Instagram) but I stopped posting - I do have 800k followers there but the reach is so low, it's never been like this before. I simply don't want to post there anymore or "make content" for this platform. I lose about 1500 followers a month when I post. Instagram has always been my safe place, favorite platform to share art with you and discover new artists and find inspiration. The fun is officially gone and I feel like I need to take some time to think about what's next.
So, what's next ? I'm not sure yet, I do know that I want to have fun painting and creating again ! That's going to be the plan for May. In the meantime, my upcoming solo show at Gallery Nucleus "Interlude" opens next Saturday, and after reading your comments about the situation in the US, I have decided to go to attend the opening - I know there's still a risk that something might happen at customs but I booked the flight months ago, I booked the Airbnb, the car and I spent so much time on these paintings that I really want to be present to see it with my own eyes ! Plus, this might be my last solo show (yes, I am a pessimist person 😳) and I would be sad to miss this important event.

On a different note, the riso atelier I used to buy my prints from closed, and they still had 35 copies of Cursed left in A3. I will add them to the shop in May when I am back from the US ! Hopefully the book will be available as well (●'β—‘'●)

To sum up : I need sleep, Instagram sucks, I am going to LA next week and there will be new products in the shop in May !
Let me know in the comments if you have any requests for the shop update πŸ₯°

Sorry for the long post, sometimes I feel like I should just record myself talking πŸ˜…
Thanks again for your support on Patreon, I will be back very soon with suggestions for May rewards and new paintings (I'm slowly going back to painting this week to see how it goes !).
I hope April has been good to you so far ! And I can't wait to see you at the opening next Saturday if you are coming to the gallery !! 🧑

Hugs,

Sibylline

Hi! I love all your artwork 😍❀️ Would it be possible to make the Amor sticker and/or print from March rewards available to purchase through your store? πŸ₯Ή

I have experienced this burnout so many times! The good news is that it will ebb and the spark will inevitably return. But take all the time you need to "ride it out." I hope it warms up here in LA for your visit, and that the sun comes out to welcome you! It's been grey and chilly here this week so far. Safe travels!
