Lost at Sea 🌊⚔️ New illustration ! Process + Preview (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

New painting !!

This one has been such a struggle for me over the past few months - I kept redrawing it on my iPad, and tried to paint it twice on paper. I never liked the face I painted though the sketch looked fine. Which was super frustrating, but I liked the concept and shape, so I kept re working on it. Until I found a composition and a color palette I liked.

First two tries on paper from March (I think) :

Here's the (new) sketch on paper :

First painting session, about 2 hours :

Second session, on the same day (around 1h30) :

Final painting : I hope you'll like it !
I thought I'd be on time to paint this for Mermay but I wasn't feeling like painting in May. So here it is now !

That's it for today, I hope June is being good to you so far - warm weather finally arrived today here, hopefully it will last for a few days !

Thanks again for your support on Patreon 💓✨

Hugs,

Sibylline
