Struggling with colored pencils 😐🎨 (send help) (Patreon)

I am sorry I have been quiet here - I am currently on vacation in the South of France (I'll answer to your messages/emails on Monday) !
There is only one day left though, so I'll be able to share more works in progress with you next week 🌼

Back in May (or June ?), Winsor & Newton asked me to join their program - I LOVE this brand and was very excited to work with them - so I said yes. They sent me their products : colored pencils and watercolor pencils. I asked if I could use W&N watercolors with it, because I am not used to draw just with pencils.

But, guys ! Here's the thing : I tried to create something decent with their super nice products, and I really can't (colored pencils are not for me !!).

Some sketches I did (and like) with watercolors & pencils :

I did a few different faces to practice - I like the face I drew on the right (first picture, based on a photo of Brigitte Bardot) but I don't feel like sharing it on my social media to promote the pencils... I want to share something I am proud of.

Then I tried to make an illustration like I usually do (the ones I post on Instagram) but never liked the result enough to post it as well.
Hopefully I'll find the perfect paper + the perfect idea to create something nice with these colored pencils (suggestions are welcome😸 ) !! I'll update you when the art block goes away !

I can't wait to be back and work on Monday !
Here's my planning for next week :

- Finish all 10 tattoo commissions first sketches
- Pack and send out the t-shirts
- Order your monthly print (you picked Ginkgo !)
- Draw for myself and post at least one illustration on Instagram
- Work on my next collaboration with Mini Gallery Box !
- Work on a new branding for my shop (hopefully it will be ready for September)
- Work on a new website/shop
- Make a vlog/Q&A video for Patreon (so if you have any question, leave a comment below !)
- Think of new products for the shop (totes & maybe a new t-shirt ?)

(I will probably do half of this list haha)
