Painting with gouache for Mini Gallery Box 🎨🌻 (Patreon)
Content
Hello Patrons ! 🌸
I just finished a painting and wanted to share some work in progress with you ! I did record some of it for my *vlog*, I'll post the speed painting next week !
This is the first piece I created for my upcoming box with Mini Gallery Box ! The theme is "Medieval". So I'll get to draw (more) lady knights in cool armors !
For this series I decided to use gouache (mostly because I forgot my inks in France and had to start working on it this week because the box will be available for preorder in October). (I'm late).
But I enjoyed working with gouache SO MUCH !
I think I spent over 4 hours on this one though, gouache is relaxing but also kind of exhausting (for me).
I am happy with the result, and still very much in love with this color palette - I hope you'll like it too !
And here is the finished illustration !
Tools :
Gouache / Designers set by Winsor & Newton
Paper : Canson XL watercolor paper
I'll post this illustration sometime this week on my Instagram 🤙
Here's what inspired me to create this illustration (thanks Pinterest !!) - these coral flowers were hand painted on ceramics by William De Morgan (1839-1917).
That's it for today ! I promise you'll get to see more of the process in my next video 😊
Thanks again for your support on Patreon !! You are the best ! 🌻🌈✨
Hugs,
Sibylline
