New WIP ✨ Last painting for Mini Gallery Box (Patreon)

Hello Patrons ! Happy Monday ! 🌸

Today I am going to share the process of my last painting for Mini Gallery Box !
This one was hard to finish - I did it in 2 days, and the second day was kind of chaotic because I spent more time mixing paint to find the perfect matching colors than actually painting !

I use Winsor & Newton Designer gouache set and I mainly use yellow, magenta, blue, white and black.
After struggling to finish this piece, I ordered some Holbein acryla gouache so I don't have to mix colors ever again haha (and to try a new type of paint, too !). 

Step 1 / As usual, sketch done on my iPad + Procreate, then printed on paper, and traced on Canson XL watercolor paper.

Step 2 / Flats + color thumbnail on my iPad (super useful !)

Step 3 / Details.
(PS : this is day 2, I started to add some shadows in her hair. It didn't turn out like I wanted, I don't know if you can see it but it dried all white and weird. I had to re paint her hair and didn't get to recreate this shade of brown that I really liked !)

I was too afraid to paint her face until the very end !

Step 4 / Last details, highlights of white and finally, her face !
