2020 Update + Goals ✨ (Patreon)

Hi Patrons ! 👋

How's your first week of 2020 ? 

Mine was super busy because I tend to do 1000 things at the same time - like seeing my family & friends, making new paintings for the gallery show, opening my shop, packing orders, and sending out your monthly prints (they're on their way ! If you ordered something from my shop, they'll be in the same package).

I am now back in London, ready to finish the series of 10 paintings I have to do for the Spellbinders II show at Gallery Nucleus in February ! I only have 4 paintings completed, still 6 to go.
I left my cat Newt in France, because I will be away most January & February. I'm missing him already !

Just like last year, I want to make a little post about what I liked about 2019 and what I have planned for 2020.
I think 2019 has been the busiest year so far ! It was a fun, crazy year.

My fav things about 2019 :

⚪ I worked on a collaborative comic book that was published later in 2019 (pour les français, c'est le livre "Cher Corps" de Léa Brodier aux édition Delcourt).
⚪ I worked with Universal for the release of the movie Dragons, and met Dan Deblois !
⚪ I released my very first artbook : Osmose, the art of Sibylline.

⚪ I was part of an art show at Gallery Nucleus with Meyoco and Heikala called Spellibinders. I met Heikala, she was the sweetest. We signed our books at the opening night and got to meet so many lovely people !! 💕

⚪ I spent 3 weeks in LA with my boyfriend & my sister, and got to visit the Disney studios and Cartoon Networks studios, thanks to the lovely people at Gallery Nucleus.
⚪ In June, I left my apartment in Montmartre, Paris, to move to London. I spent the summer in the French Alps before officially moving to the UK.

⚪ I made my very first t-shirts ! People seemed to like it. Next time, I'll be more careful regarding the tshirt brand and printing company to make even nicer tees.
⚪ I turned 28 !
⚪ I worked on a new collaboration with Mini Gallery Box and worked hard on my gouache game ! Loved it and decided to switch to acryla gouache, which, I think, helped me when I was doubtful about my art.

⚪ In October, I decided not to enter Inktober, and attended my first comic cons : MAG in Germany, and MCM in London. It was so nice to meet people in real life again 💕
⚪ I opened new tiers on Patreon and you guys were amazing and so supportive !! I am so lucky.
⚪ I did 12 illustrations for my 2020 calendar using only acryla gouache to force myself to experiment the medium a little more.
⚪ I went to Brighton, UK
⚪ I made a little zine to celebrate 2019. I picked only illustrations that I really like from last year. It's my favorite zine so far !

I feel like I have learned a lot about myself and my art this year !
I can't wait to see what's coming.

What I have planned so far for 2020 :

⚪ Going to LA again for the Spellbinders ll show in February
⚪ Going to Montréal in July for their comic con (I got in !)
⚪ I want to start painting on canvas
⚪ Going back to the French Alps a few times because my older sister is going to have a bby this summer !
⚪ Getting married
⚪ I would LOVE to go to South Korea + Japan in September or October. I have never been there and thought about it for a least 10 years. So let's do this !
⚪ Make nicer merch (prints, tees, books...). I want to really care about what I put in my shop and my packaging, too. I want to make something I am really proud of.
⚪ Draw more for myself, experiment new things and be more creative ! 

That's it ! Sorry for the long post, but I feel like I had to do these lists to start 2020 right !
