Hi Patrons ! 🐠

I am so happy to finally let you know that I finished all 10 paintings for the Spellbinders ll art show at Gallery Nucleus next week !!

The last one is a mermaid with her giant fish friends. I sketched this idea back in May 2019 for Mermay, but never used it for some reason.
I didn't take many pictures because I was focused on finishing this today, before the sun goes down at 4PM !

Colors I used (I recently got the Vermillon and Corail Red and they are πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ) :

And my brushes, if you were wondering ! I always get questions about brushes on Instagram, so I thought I'd share what I used for this painting (from left to right) :
- Da Vinci brush, "Nova" size 10
- Arteza brush, size 1
- Arteza brush, size 4/0 (perfect for little details)

And as usual, I used Canson Montval paper.

That's it for today !
Next on my list : 3 more paintings for Gallery Nucleus Portland (I have to finish and send them out before January 30th) !

Thanks for staying with me while I worked on this exhibition ! Doing all 10 paintings with gouache was a real challenge for me, and I am so glad you liked what I did ! Thank you for your kind words on the previous posts, you have no idea what it means to me πŸ˜πŸ’–
And thank you for your support on Patreon !!

Hugs,

Sibylline
