🦋 Little study & cotton paper 🦋 (Patreon)

Today I'm sharing a process of a little study I did yesterday. I bought this cool paper last week and finally decided to use it (sometimes I'm scared to use fancy materials because I feel like I am going to waste it and make a big mess). It's from Khadi Papers, and I purchased a pack of A5 sheets, and another of square sheets.

I decided to do a study of "Vanity" by Frank Cadogan Cowper 🦋

First I inked the important lines so I can still see her face under the gouache paint, which is usually thick and opaque.

I started with the skin and hair (I loved doing her hair !)

This dress is so lovely but it was super tricky to recreate it !

Here's the final result ! It's hard to take nice pics because the paper is very textured 

I love this paper, it's really thick (640g), textured but smooth.
I will use it for the Golden Sun tier this month 🌞 Next time I'll record a process video of one of these studies for you.
