Mermay 🐟✨ Process + Preview // Gallery Nucleus (Patreon)

Hi Patrons ! 🤗🌻

Here's a new illustration I finished last week. It's my piece for the Mermay Show at Gallery Nucleus !

The gallery is closed due to Covid-19, but the show will be held online on their website, from May 16th to May 31st.

I didn't know what to draw to be honest, I don't feel creative anymore when it comes to mermaids - not sure why because I love them, I love seeing other artists' take on mermaids, but I don't like mine for some reason. 🤷‍♀️

So instead of trying to make the perfect mermaid illustration - I mean, it could take days, weeks - I decided to pick a different color palette and have fun with it !

And here's the finished illustration :

I'll post it on Instagram tomorrow night 🤗
I hope you'll like it !

Tools :
✨ Holbein acryla gouache
✨ Canson XL Watercolor paper
✨ Arteza brushes

I received stickers from Stickerapp a few days ago and got these to go with your monthly prints !

That's it for today !

Thanks again for your support on Patreon 🧡✨
Happy weekend !

Hugs,

Sibylline
