Hi Patrons ! 🌞

I hope you're doing great.

I didn't feel like drawing last week but I took some time to try out this jelly gouache Arrtx sent me a few days ago. I usually don't accept collaborations and products brands offer me because 1/ they have no idea what I do and 2/ I am not comfortable doing it.

This time I thought it would be fun to go back to gouache. Arrtx have two or three different color palettes and asked me which one I wanted. I picked the one that I thought was closest to the colors I use these days. You can also pick the color of the box, I picked teal but I think they have pink and yellow, too.

Gouache comes in these little plastic boxes.

Texture : nice ✔
Colors : nice  âœ”
We'll see how long it takes for the gouache to dry out because there is no particular way to protect it from drying, except the lid.

I sketched a portrait of Timothée Chalamet the other day (because, you know), and decided to paint it with Arrtx gouache.
Not my usual color palette, but I like how it turned out !

Jelly gouache is fun to use, I'll definitely use it again in my sketchbook and try to paint a bigger piece with it too.

I like how it's a portable gouache set. I have never seen anything like it before ! Plus it includes a palette to mix the colors on the go. Not sure if it's really convenient to travel but it's a nice product I think.

Here's a link to Arrtx website if you want to check it out !

Love the palette you chose for the paint set! 8D I don't know if you would know this or not, but are these the same company as the Himi/Maya jelly gouache? Also do they have the option to create your own color palette when purchasing the gouache?
