New illustration 🐸✨ Preview + Process (Patreon)

Hi Patrons ! ✨

Here's a new painting I finished yesterday, I took some process pics for you !

This is the sketch I drew in Procreate on my iPad, I usually pick my color palette beforehand so I don't have to think about it when I start painting on paper !

I use a light table to trace my initial sketch on paper, I use Canson Watercolor Paper XL.

People often ask me how I get a smooth and opaque rendering, so here's the difference between the first layer of acryla gouache and the second one :

I think I'll name this one "Blessed" or "Blessing" because it feels like she's been blessed by the magical toad ?? What do you think ?
