How have you been ?

I am very sorry I haven't been able to post more on Patreon in February. This month has been strange to be honest ! I miss posting here !!

A r t b o o k 

I worked on my book, but somehow it felt overwhelming at some point. I have a ton of things to do but I don't feel like doing anything (does this happen to you too ?). It's like I have too much on my plate at the moment and I just want to go outside and do anything but work 😅

I wish I could be as productive as I wanted, but sometimes you just have to listen to your body 🤷‍♂️

Anyways, the book is almost done, the first deadline is March 8th. I still have some changes to do, some texts to write and 3 tutorials to make. There will be a tutorial about gouache, one about acryla gouache and another one about drawing in general. I am nervous about this part because I never know how to properly explain my process and I really don't see myself as a "teacher". 

I still have to work on the cover, too ! I decided to paint it on a bigger size than usual, so I bought an A2 sheet of paper (I couldn't find something big an thick enough so I bought what I found, which is what it seems to be cotton based paper from Canson in 260g).

I also started this painting last week, I thought I could finish it and post in on Instagram and Patreon today but there are so many details, I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it anytime soon since I still have to work on the tutorials and stuff.

It's inspired by "The Knight of Flowers" by G. Rochegrosse !

F e b r u a r y   P r i n t s

Your February prints have been shipped yesterday, it took some time to pack because I'm keeping the prints at my parents house for now, so I had to go back there to pack and ship everything out.
Also, I'm not sure if you know about this yet, but Patreon changed their way of charging patrons (they used to charge every 1st of each month, now you'll be charged on the day you subscribed (if you joined my Patreon page on the 15th of February, you'll receive March print and will be charged on March 15th for example)). So I had to adapt my schedule and decided from now on I will ship prints at the end of the month instead of the 6th like I used to do. I hope you don't mind !

In other news, I am going to have a gallery show in Paris in April. The gallery is called Achetez de l'Art (allez checker si vous êtes Parisien ! 🤗), and we are planning another show at Gallery Nucleus for the book launch ! It's going to be my very first solo show 😱 It should be in November, hopefully things will get better so I can go to LA, attend the opening night and meet some of you ! 

I think that's it, the weather is so nice here, it almost feels like spring ! Annecy is such a nice little city 🤍 Plus Lake Annecy is Europe's cleanest lake !! 

I'll be back soon with more info about gallery shows, books, collaborations, maybe a shop update too, and I'll need your help to choose March prints !
