Cozy Sunday 🧡 New illustration ! 🌻 (Patreon)

Hi Patrons ! 🌼

We finally brought Newt to our new place, he's a little lost but starts to find nice spots to nap ! He used to live with a dog and another cat, so he must be a little sad and confused at the moment. But he follows me everywhere I go in the apartment and I missed spending time with my cat 🥰

Today I finished an illustration I started a few weeks ago, it's inspired by "The Knight of the Flowers" by George Antoine Rochegrosse, 1894 🌻 I recorded a reel while painting it, I'll post it on my Instagram next week !

I also took some time to put the studio together this week, it's still very empty but I'm trying to make it cozy ! I have to take some pictures for the book too, which is kind of forcing me to take care of it these days 🌸

I started to paint my book cover. I wanted to paint it on a bigger sheet of paper, I think it's size A2. I bought what I found at the art supply store, and now that I have done the outlines, I'm pretty sure this paper isn't meant to be used with gouache 😅 

I mixed black acryla gouache with a lot of water to outline, so it smudged a bit (as you can see here, especially the flower). 

Fingers crossed thicker paint will work ! 🤞
