✨ Secret Sketchbook Tour Part 1 ✨ (Patreon)

Hi Patrons ! 🌸

In September I started this sketchbook that I used to doodle ideas that could lead to finished illustrations for my solo show at Gallery Nucleus. It's super messy because it's just rough concepts and ideas, sometimes just studies of paintings I like (you"ll also find a Nana doodle in there 😝).

I usually use my iPad to sketch but this time I felt trapped for some reason. So I decided to sketch everything on paper. I thought changing medium would help me think outside the box !

I didn't care how the sketchbook would look in the end, the goal was to be more free and loose to find new ideas. I sometimes wrote in this sketchbook too, and blurred some of it when I thought was too personal.

Here's the first half ! 💕

The first half of this sketchbook are ideas for my solo show (October 2021). The second half is filled with drawings I did for myself once the final pieces were sent out to the gallery, and felt I needed to draw for myself again.

I'll share the second half of this sketchbook later !

I hope you'll like it (I personally love to see messy sketchbook content from my favorite artists !). I never shared rough sketches like these on Patreon before and thought it would be nice to show you the ugly stages of art making, too !

That's it for today !

Thanks again for the support on Patreon !! 💗🌸✨

Hugs,

Sibylline
