Life update 🙇‍♂️ + Sketchbook spread (Patreon)

Hi Patrons ! What's up ? 🌞

I thought I'd write a little post because I am not super productive these days, and these past few week have been tough ! Nothing too serious, just boring adult stuff ! 

I had to cancel the shop update because there were too many things going on, mostly annoying little things like a flood in my apartment + workers renovating the place - we had to store all our furniture in my little studio for 2 days so I didn't get much work done lately 😅 Anyways, I'll reschedule the shop update in March !

I am also fighting with my bank, trying to get a loan (we found the perfect place) but since I am an ✨independent artist✨ it's pretty complicated because the bank just doesn't trust me 🤷‍♂️ Cyprien (my husband) is a professional musician, so we're basically the worst couple to be asking for a loan🙇‍♂️ 

I'm having foot surgery next week which is very weird to me because I've never had surgery before ! It's nothing too serious, I just won't be able to walk for a few days (and no physical activities for 3 months 😪).

I really wanted to order March prints this week but I don't have anything new to make a nice set of prints and sticker, so I'll try to do that next week, sorry ! By the way, all February rewards have been shipped out !!

Sorry this post is all over the place, my brain is a little foggy right now, I feel like writing it down is helping me process it all 🐸 

I'll be away from Friday to Monday, will have surgery next Wednesday, and hopefully I'll be able to draw after that ! 🥰

Here's a sketchbook spread from today, I asked my followers on Instagram to suggest people I should paint. I wanted to practice portraits and find a quick way to paint them. Each portrait took 10-15 minutes.

I thought they were all ok when I finished it earlier today but looking at them now, I can see flaws in all of them. I'll keep practicing !! 💪 My favorite is David Bowie I think ! I've always wanted to draw those cheekbones 😎
