I finished my sketchbook !!

I'm glad I finally finished it, because that doesn't happen a lot 😅 but I am going to miss drawing in it ! 🙇‍♂️

It's rainy & cloudy today so the pictures look a little bit dark ! Sorry ! ☔

I thought I'd finish this sketchbook with self portraits - I never draw myself, and I struggled finding pictures of me in my phone because I never take selfies 🤷‍♂️
I wrote the dates next to the drawings, as you can see I might take 1 selfie a year maybe ?? 🐸 Anyways drawing myself is too hard, there's something about my face that I don't quite understand yet !!

I also drew my husband (Cyprien !!), my cat Newt and my dog Marty based on pictures I took with my phone 💕

That's it !

On the very last page of this sketchbook, I wrote down the things that I have learned while doodling in it :

1 - There are so many things that I don't know how to draw/can't draw yet
2 - Animals are fun to draw !!
3 - I love drawing horses even though they're pretty hard to draw
4 - I don't make a lot of mistakes while sketching but it's still far from perfect
5 - Using references is so helpful !!
6 - Some days drawing is easy, some days it's too hard
7 - I never felt "obligated" to draw in this sketchbook because it was fun
8 - Drawing in a cheap sketchbook with a simple ballpoint pen helped me loosen up and open my mind to find new ideas
9 - Drawing on paper is way more stimulating than drawing on my iPad

I already started a new sketchbook, it's still a cheap one but it's not the same brand, I liked the previous one better so we'll see how it goes !
