Hi Patrons,

Happy October !

I made some black & white drawings last week because I felt like I haven't drawn with black ink in forever (for finished illustrations, not sketches in my sketchbooks !). So I thought I'd spend some time drawing some witches ! I didn't want to spend too much time on these, I wanted to have fun and make quick drawings with cool shapes to play with.

I am not going to follow a prompt list this month, and will draw whenever/whatever I feel like drawing. I missed just drawing with one color ! It's so much easier than painting 😅

Here's a first witch with her cat friend. I really want to just draw some complex details and patterns (lamp, rug), I think it's relaxing.

Second drawing, a witch studying.

The pictures I used as reference (found on Pinterest, the first one might be a picture for the online store YesStyle, unfortunately I couldn't find the photographer & model names. Second one is a picture for Fudge.jp, photographer : Serizawa Shinji // Model : Dasha) :

Like I said, I didn't want to spend too much time on these, so I thought I'd pick some poses and add my own touch to them ! It's actually a very fun exercise to improve perspective and how objects occupy the space.

For this one I felt like drawing symbols and telling a story with just one portrait and some spooky elements 🐍

The pens I used :

It feels good to change medium once in a while. I forgot how relaxing drawing on paper can be ! And it doesn't take hours to make - I spent 1h30 max on each piece compared to 3h - 5h to a painting ! 😳

That's it for today ! I hope I can make more soon 😼 And I hope you'll like it !

Thanks again for your support on Patreon !! 🖤🌙✨

Hugs,

Sibylline

L'encre noire donne toujours une finesse et une opacité au trait que les couleurs ne rendent pas, j'aime beaucoup, et les détails, sublime !
