Pride & Prejudice ☁️ new movie study ! (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

How are you ??

I have been thinking of doing more movie studies lately, since I haven't made one in two years ! And I really enjoy painting these so here's the first movie study of 2023 🥰

I asked my followers on Instagram what movie they wanted me to paint, and about 90% of them said PRIDE & PREJUDICE 2005 😤 so I listened to the people and painted this scene - to be honest I hesitated with so many good ones !! This movie is just so pleasing to the eye.

I didn't take too many pictures while painting because I recorded some videos to make a reel for Instagram (will I ever edit it ? Who knows) 👀

I tried the pink background first to see if it could bring an interesting color palette (because the scene I picked is quite neutral/muted)

Kind of liked the pink jacket era 🙇‍♀️

Details :

I don't love the paper I chose for this illustration - as you can see there's a lot of texture in it and it too much for me. It was harder to paint little details (I used Clairefontaine watercolor paper). It also made it harder for me to take good pictures of it for some reason 🙇‍♀️

I hope you'll like it !! 💗

Let me know what movie I should do next ! These are so much fun to paint !! 😊

Thanks again for your support on Patreon !! 💗🌷✨

Hugs,
