iPad sketches + PS Show @ Nucleus Portland preview (Patreon)

Hello Patrons !

Happy Monday ☀️

I am currently finishing the paintings for my solo in Hiroshima (I have to send them all to the gallery by the 17th of September).
I was also invited to do little paintings for the PS Show #8 at Nucleus Portland (I think the opening is in November) - they asked us to show them the first painting so I spent Sunday morning painting it (hopefully I can do the series of 3 I sketched on my iPad 🤞). These little paintings will all be $100.

Since I am drawing a lot on my iPad, I thought I'd show you what I did these past few weeks. The solo show was on my mind the whole time of course 🫡 like I told you a few posts ago, I like to work in series of 3 illustrations, it's easier for me to find a theme and explore it that way (for some reason). It gives me a goal I guess, and it makes the whole collection of paintings look more cohesive.

Anyways ! Here are some sketches, as you can see this was supposed to be a series, I'm not sure if I'll be able to actually paint it on paper in time for the exhibition :

I am going to paint the cowgirl on paper for the exhibition - no series here, just a fun one to paint !

The last 3 sketches are what I planned on painting for the PS Show at Nucleus Portland, and here's the first one :

Let me know if you'd like to see the 3 medieval portraits painted ? I worked a lot on them and ended up not loving them especially the queen. I kind of like the first one, but I'm not sure if I should just paint this one or make the whole series (I'm lost help 😸)
