Starry Knight ✨⚔️ Process + Preview (December reward) (Patreon)

Hi Patrons,

I just finished the Starry Knight illustration I picked for December mini print !

Here's the very first sketch I did in my little sketchbook :

Then I sketched it again on Procreate :

Once I find a color palette I like, I usually print the sketch out on paper and trace it on watercolor paper with my light table.

I didn't document the whole process as I started taking picture at the end of the first painting session (instead of taking pictures at the very beginning !)

Also the light in the pictures is bad because the weather is bad and where I live we basically never seen the sun these days !

First painting session (1h30) :

Second painting session :

Third :

I didn't like the eyes I painted so I covered them up with more acryla gouache and sketched on top with some brown paint. I felt like her eyes were too big and too far apart - the final result is not much different but I think she looks better now !

I hope you'll like it !! I really enjoyed painting this one, even though I planned on painting it over 2 days but ended up spending 4 or 5 days on it ! And if you didn't see my latest post, it's going to be December's mini print and sticker ! ✨

About your November rewards :
Some Moonstones were shipped a few weeks ago, the rest is still pending because we are packing orders from the shop at the same time, and we didn't think we would still be packing 10 days later - but everything should ship next week !! Sorry for the inconvenience 🌻

November rewards will be added to the shop in a couple of weeks !

Thanks again for the support on Patreon, I said it a hundred time but you guys are the best and I am forever grateful !! 💗💗💗

Hugs,

Sibylline
