Last Painting of 2023 ✨ (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

I hope you're able to take some time to rest, sleep, eat...! 🧸

I just finished the very last painting of the year ! I didn't know what I wanted to paint for January's mini print and then I thought a fawn would be cute. So I drew two of them !
I usually sketch ideas on my iPad, let them sit for days, weeks, months, then open them up again, change some details and paint them on paper.
For this one, I did it all in one sitting - idea, rough sketch, iPad sketch, color palette and painting on paper. It doesn't happen very often but I didn't feel like waiting too long before starting a new piece, especially when I know I won't be able to paint between Christmas and the new year.

I edited it in Procreate once I finished it because I saw some flaws that needed to be fixed.
I made her head + face bigger, and added some light on the deer + around the stars.

I read a lot this year, so including a girl reading a book means something special to me.
This is going to be January's mini print + sticker !
