The Messenger 🧡 Preview + Process (Patreon)

Hello Patrons !

I started this painting before I underwent surgery, about 3 weeks ago. I decided to finish it this weekend !

Here's the sketch I did on my iPad - I don't know if you remember but I shared this sketch in October last year maybe ?

I traced it on watercolor paper :

I think my sketches look 100x better than the finished paintings 🙂

Outlined the important lines with black acryla gouache so I can still see some of it underneath the first layer of gouache (I usually do 2 layers)

First session : blue !

Second session - added some orange/brown and started painting the details

I listened to The Three Musketeers while painting this and it was so fun to listen to ! I haven't finished it yet but it's slowly becoming a favorite ⚔️
