Having been introduced in print via IN THE FLESH magazine, and via images on my own spcOnline website, radical self-sculptor Stonehenge (then going by Toecutter) made the leap to video with a sit-down interview with BME founder Shannon Larratt in 1998 that culminated in an on-screen self finger removal. 

A fascinating character even without the amputations, Toe was a founder of the Tattoo Society of New York and wore tattoos that were years ahead of their time. 

Last we spoke he's moved out of NYC but is apparently alive and well.
