Viking Navaro's stretched ear piercing (with turquoise in is cartilage piercings)- Polaroid, 1980. Bud's "double life"- that of a college Econ professor by day and modern primitive by night- fascinates me. Stretched earlobes in 1980s were incredibly rare - I can't imagine seeing Bud in all of his horned, pierced, tattooed, and stretched glory.
