When I met Jack Yount in 1990, he was in the process of filling in larger areas of his body with tattooing from Bud Pierson of Orlando's Ancient Art Tattoo; when I walked into Bud's station to see a cotton headed older gent, in a thong, being tattooed, Bud was working on the water on the large phallic squid that's arguably Jack's most recognizable tattoo. 

He'd also, by that point, gone all-in with silicone injections in his penis and scrotum, resulting in what even back then I referred to as a 'comically oversized' bulge in his thong, as well as having nearly 1" thick holes in his stretched nipples.

But before all of that..  

Here's a snapshot of Jack in the mid 1990s. A few piercings in his penis, the beginnings of stretching his nipples, and not a squid in sight. 

At some point, we're going to commit to an Archives Edition photo book devoted to Jack, but there are just so many prints, slides, and negatives to sort through- with each image being worthy of inclusion, I'm going to have a hard time keeping the book under 500 pages!
