Nodal Points Five (sneak preview!) (Patreon)

Thanks so much to everyone who's picked up a copy of Nodal Points IV- I think this has been our best selling zine to date, and we really appreciate all the kind words, social media shares, and enthusiasm for what we're doing with the Nodal Points issues.

Ari, Lynn, Julia, and I are already hard at work on NP5- we've got most of the articles plotted out, now it's just a matter of starting the research, scanning the physical media, writing the articles, re-writing the articles, sitting with the articles open on our desktops and second guessing everything, and finally- putting it all together.

Issue Five will feature:

• A new BSTA with retired piercer Sharrin Spector.
• A feature on Erl Van Aken, who's name was once synonymous with the bridge piercing.
• Contact Points: Pre-Internet Body Modification Contact Clubs.
• A feature on tattoo and piercing fan Kinsey Maxell.
• A contextualized look at photos scanned from 40-50yo negatives & slides from Robin Ryan.
• Ari's experience with piercing Gauntlet Master Piercer Mark Seitchik.
• A new article by Lynn Loheide.
• And the Patreon exclusive article on J: Story of a Subincision.
• Article TBD.

We went two years between issue 3 and 4, so hopefully this time we'll be able to wrap things up a little sooner! Just figured you folks would enjoy a look into the zine!

The TOC is based on the colors from Gilbert Baker's original PRIDE flag.

More information (hopefully, but probably not) coming soon!
