For a variety of reasons, I have to crop the majority of photos that I post to our various Instagram accounts* - be it for content, or equally likely due to sizing constraints, you're never truly getting the full image. 

Because, generally speaking, I'm an airhead, it never occurred to me to x-post our Instagram content here on the SD blog until recently. Better late than never, I suppose. 

This fellow was a friend of Sailor Sid Diller, though I don't think it was Sid who did his tattoo work. This would have been taken some time in the mid/late 1980s.
