Subincision Fun (VHS restoration in progress) (Patreon)
Content
One of the most remarkable personalities I met through the Unique contact club - which we'll be looking at in a little more depth in the next issue of Nodal Points - was a retired military intelligence officer from Maine who's passion was urethral stimulation.
During the tenure of our friendship, we exchanged letters, photographs, and video tapes documenting our passions, ultimately meeting in person at the first MODCON event in Toronto, Ontario in the summer of 1999.
Jerry did a brief interview with BME's Shannon Larratt (which can be viewed here) in the late 1990s that's been cited as a major influence on a new generation of body mod devotees, but he was also a well known member - literally and figuratively - on BME/Extreme's video galleries.
The videos that were posted of him came from a master VHS tape - Subincision Fun: or a dozen things things a boy can do with human skin - that he'd originally sent to me for digitalization in 1996/7.
The digital files we made back then were serviceable at the time, but over the years capture and editing technology have radically improved, while magnetic tape has radically degraded. We've recently started the process of cleaning up a new scan of the physical media that'll eventually be available as a download for our VIP patrons.
In his sixties when we met almost a quarter of a century ago, Jerry would be in his mid 80s now, and despite attempts to find him, he seems to be unreachable. He once told me he lived a "adventurous, dangerous life" (which led to him sending me boxes of his modification photos, videos, and plaster casts of his subincision for safekeeping, to be returned upon his safe return from far off ports) so hopefully, if he's no longer with us, he had a hell of a last adventure.
