When we look back at piercing history, it's easy to focus on the larger than life devotees; Fakir Musafar with his 1" nipple loops, Viking Navaro tusk'd and tattooed with large atavistic designs, Jack Yount's - well, everything about Jack - but it's the regular folks who, despite the taboo of "exotic" piercing in the 1970s & 80s, gleefully showed off what might be their only piercing who kept the subculture thriving in the days before it had reached super-culture saturation.

These two anonymous gents are freshly pierced and proud.

Piercings by Jack Yount, 1980s.
