Day of three operations intro- Jack Yount (Patreon)

When it comes to extreme surgical body modification, Jack Yount was one of the discipline's biggest cheerleaders. Castration, silicone injection, HRT, subincison- Jack not only had extensive modifications, but would provide space for others who needed surgical assistance to make their modification dreams come true, often tapping in famed/infamous "Modification Doctor" John Ronald Brown, sometimes called the world's worst, for the job. 

This footage, filmed on 8mm tape in the early 1990s, features Jack in one of his "video letters" to other modification fans, discussing the procedures he and his cadre of friends already had performed and the ones they were visiting Mexico to have done. 

It's a fascinating mix- a man who had his penis surgically "shortened" was joined by a fellow who had his suspensatory ligament cut (a procedure that Fakir Musafar made famous, the procedure also having been performed by Brown) is a particularly interesting duality. 

The surgical footage itself is, as Jack said, "something a little unnerving" and isn't able to be hosted on YouTube, Vimeo, etc, but this introduction is, thankfully, equally dynamic. 

Jack's video letters were duplicated and shared with modification fans all over the world, via the postal system, and provide a truly one of a kind look at the potential for surgical modification when performed in surgical suites without the then draconian rules the AMA had in place for gender affirmation surgery; Brown felt he was doing 'the lord's work' in helping his transgender clients, most of whom had been turned down by the major hospitals that were doing SRS procedures in the US, match their bodies with their gender identity. The body modification surgeries that Jack and his crew paid for helped defer the costs for SRS and cosmetic procedures for children in rural Mexico with cleft palates. While his skills weren't always up to par, Brown's heart was usually in the right place.
