Today would have almost been the 82nd birthday of legendary erotic illustrator Bud Larsen- known to readers of PFIQ and DRUMMER magazine simply as BUD.

Almost?

While Bud passed away in July of 2013th, his birthday is a little harder to pin down. Not because it's unknown, but because Bud was a leap year baby, born on February 29th, 1940.

I've called him the "kinky Al Hirschfeld" off and on over the years; Bud's work was almost exclusively presented in black and white, with crisp brushed linework and little shading and, at most, a pop of color.

His illustrations appeared on the covers of the inaugural issues of both PFIQ and Drummer, setting the visual identity for two of the most influential kink-forward publications to come out of the 1970s.

This illo comes from an issue of Drummer, and features a hell of a scene at "Fanny Fister's Knuckle Party."

Is it "... Knuckle party" or "... knuckle parlor?"
