Sailor Moses - birth name James Childress -was an influential American tattoo artist who operated the California Tattoo Studio in Biloxi, Mississippi. He's seen here working on a throat tattoo at a convention; Im not sure who the client is, but I think she was a piercer (notice the captive bead ring tattoo on the side of her head).
