For our annual Black Friday-Cyber Monday fundraising campaign we're going to be offering a limited number of copies of the fourth in our series of Archive Editions premium 7x7 photo books- this one featuring the portraits taken at the 2006 Scar Wars event by the official event photographer Rachel Larratt. 

There was a lot of chaos surrounding these prints and my decision to invite Rachel to shoot them (that's a longer story that I'll gladly tell you in person over a drink or three) but I've been feeling sentimental about her and how much she brought to my life- and to the world of body modification documentation - recently, and want to make sure that these photos live on after whatever hard drive they're stored on gives up the ghost. 

Rachel wanted to document the attendees of the event, not super close-up anatomical shots of bloody cuttings (though she did a few of those, too) so this is more of a book of portraits than a book about scarification, but it does contain some of my favorite images from the three official Scar Wars events, so I hope folks that pick up a copy will enjoy them as much as I do. 

We'll be posting images from the book throughout November, and pre-order links should drop middle of the month.
