"The tale of a young woman whose quest for self exploration and sexual liberation quickly becomes a journey of metaphysical and mystical delirium."

In 1994, cult film director turned comic book writer Alejandro Jodorowsky and his frequent collaborator Mœbius released Angel Claw (which was also released as Angel Claws) which features several illustrations that were directly taken from photos of Fakir Musafar and Paula P-Orridge.

Right- Paula P-Orridge, photo by Christine Alicino.

Giraud is regarded as one of the best illustrators in comics history, and like most artists, often used photographs as inspiration for his fantastical drawings.

Angel Claws can be ordered from your local comic shop.
