Legendary erotic illustrator Bud Larsen, who was primarily known for his sci-fi and fantasy-themed erotic artwork, would have celebrated his birthday today if not for the fact that he was born on February 29th, 1940, a leap day.

As such, we will have to wait until 2024 to celebrate his birthday proper.

I had the rare privilege of meeting Bud in 2001 where we sat down for a chat; his presence in the annals of gay erotic art is sorely lacking and we're always thrilled when we're able to share more of his output with you folks.
