Occult Vibrations x CHESKO: Necrowitch Design (Patreon)

We launched Occult Vibrations- the tattoo history side of our archival work- back in February of 2011. To date, it's the longest running of my web projects* and if I'm being honest, kind of my favorite. It's become decentralized, with some OV content going on the blog proper (which hasn't been updated in a few years if we're being honest), most going on the OV Instagram account, and the NSFW stuff ended up here. 

One of my 2024 goals is to make things a little more streamline here; I've talked about it in the past but I really need to get better about cross posting everything that ends up on IG here since you folks are directly funding the on-task time it takes to sort, scan, prepare, and contextualize the content that's being posted elsewhere and it shouldn't be on y'all to figure out where to look for new uploads, but at the end of the day I'm pretty scatterbrained so forgive me if I still have as many misses as hits. 

All of that said- since 2011 we've only put out two OV related designs for shirts/stickers, etc and after a recent dinner with the artist behind Occult Vibrations original logo, realized it was time to add something new to the lineup. 

I reached out to my buddy Chad Chesko for something that looks like it came straight out of the 1990s, and he knocked it out of the park with this HR GIGER-by-way-of-Jack-Kirby Necrowitch which you folks are getting the first look at!

It's going to be rolling out on stickers that I throw in with book/zine orders, shirts, hoodies, all that noise; once I get my print samples in this week it should be good for an October 1st preorder.
