Rudy's T&P Men- Sebastian (Patreon)
Content
I've been working on a project that I can't really talk about yet, but it's got me digging through the stacks and contextualizing concepts like "half a lifetime ago" that are making me feel each one of my almost fifty years; it's not a bad thing, but it's a thing.
I started corresponding with Rudy Inhelder when I wasn't old enough to legally buy a beer. A few decades later and there's a few nerds out there, like me, who still remember him and his contributions to body art & modification- Paul King and Matt Lodder being two of my favorite Rudy nerds- and it still makes me happy when I'm able to re-share things that he sent me back when I had significantly less grey hairs.
This photo is from Rudy's T&P Men collection, submitted to my spcO site in the 1990s. As with previous caveats- this photo was submitted to my website when 640x480 by 72dpi was the standard. It's been cleaned up using Photoshop, but there's only so much you can do to make sure that the original image isn't augmented to where it's something... different.
"In 1970 the cutback in the defense industry in the USA for which I worked as a physicist, forced me to look around and I went to Munich, Germany to work for a German firm. In 1973 this firm sent me to England, where George Bone and Alan Oversby in London have mainly worked on me since. I have not missed a single convention of the TCCB be since its beginning and felt very honored when I was asked on several occasions to be on the jury of the beauty contests."
More on that hush-hush project soon.
