- whose uncle was one piece of work... with a notorious cock on him! - But the other one is the one I think you know.
No... I have no body modifications of any kind. Not pierced. Not tattooed... nothing! I never felt I had the PERSONA for it. If I had worn body jewelry, I always felt that the jewelry would in fact worn me. (My lover could have carried it.. he had the body for it. But he wasn't into it. He wasn't into art either tho! People always assumed in that aspect of me, but he didn't give a DAMN about that! And in fact, he didn't even know I was an artist until we'd lived together for almost a year. I worked in a factory when he met me + on only did the occasional cartoon for QUEENY QUARTERLY in NYC via the mails. He only found out when he showed me one of my own cartoons... not knowing it was mine. And I said, yeah, I drew that.)
I always wanted a white and pale grey snow leopard on me.. back piece.. in Autumn/Gold/brown leaves, or gold bamboo. And I could have traded for that. Cliff Raven was up for that. But I always thought I didn't have the presence for all that. (and really.. I didn't)
Leap day, occurring every four years on February 29th, is a result of the Gregorian calendar's adjustment to account for the fact that Earth's orbit around the Sun takes approximately 365.25 days. This extra day was introduced by Julius Caesar in 45 BCE with the Julian calendar, further refined by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582 with the Gregorian calendar to synchronize the calendar year with the astronomical year. Only about 0.06% of the Earth's population is born on a leap day.
Our favorite leapling, born 29th February 1940, was legendary erotic illustrator BUD. Bud, whose illustrations graced the inaugural issues of both PFIQ and DRUMMER magazines, passed away on 8th July, 2013.
BUD's art was bold and simple; sculpted lines, minimal shading, zip tone for gradients, and more often than not, erotic in design.
