Back in the Heroine Rumble days, I started with a slow combat speed, but then people were saying the combat speed were too slow. This lead to an eventually 1.3x speedup in a later patch. (This setting is changeable in game settings)

So for SR, I started with a faster combat speed. However, I may have run into an opposite problem: is the combat speed too fast? What do you guys think?

In other news, I got the body sliders working, here is a WIP screenshot:

I personally liked HR's speed as it allowed you to keep your distance and you had more times to react to abilities. Right now, I feel like it's hard to stay away from your opponent and the timing to avoid Power Fist can be kind of tight. It's not excessively fast for me, I still like the gameplay, but I feel such a pace would fit more a beat-em-up than a versus game. I would prefer the speed to be a tad slower, just a bit, kind of like in Heroine Rumble. For convenience, could we have separate playable characters for CATC and SR as it can be a bit wonky in some instances like errors when units are assigned to the facility in CATC if you boot up SR. And HoHoHoly shit, the sliders are here!!!

My main issues with it are that there is too much button mashing to maintain and escape from grabs, and that grabs seem to always go back and forth (this could be from inexperience though).

Yes, apparently it turns into a kinda paradox. Perhaps you should look for the golden mean of this.
