Yes this is the newest version currently. I made a mistake with the version number in the previous versions so v0.9x will be the newest versions.

This is a big content patch bringing in party members, post combat decisions, shops, new floor with new enemy + boss, custom dungeon modding support with lots of bug fixes.

There are 2 ways to acquire party members in a run:

Either randomly at end of each battle:

Or you can buy new ones in the new shop rooms:

The player can also spend credits to buy new cards or items in addition to new recruits.

There is also a new floor, with new enemies such as these:

I was aiming for this patch to be for at end of October which is why there is Halloween themed enemy. But wasn't able to get it ready in time. Better late than never.

I also added about 15 or so new cards, many of them are scaled by Special Attack, as the Special Attack focused builds were lacking in the previous patches.

Thats all I want to say for this CATC patch. Up next I will be adding Carrying mechanic in Versus Mode. I am not quite ready to officially implement devices yet but there are some modders dying to try, so it is very much a "for the modders" patch.

I'm gonna try to say this and not sound like an asshole, but it doesn't matter what you add to CATC. The moment you chose to go the "dungeon/rouge like" route and changed the combat system, this game became unfun. I downloaded this version in hopes that maybe it got better, but it didn't. First fight got stuck in perma grab with an enemy until i died. This is due to running out of cards, so i kept ending my turn, and the moment i got free, they just grabbed me again. The whole concept of not keeping your items/xp after death or restart is something I've never been a fan of on other games. I stay subbed in hopes that one day you realize your mistake and go back to the old system, but i doubt that'll ever happen. Also, I stay in hopes of an update to Heroine Rescue Team :D I will say, adding the feature where you can capture enemies is neat, but its not enough to make this game enjoyable in my own personal opinion.

I think this project is pretty neat overall. When you added grid movement it really boosted enjoyment for me. I personally aren't massively into Roguelike. Especially when if you close the game AFTER a fight, You kinda "lose" I heard you'll be working on HRT again eventually? I can't wait!

Its a good game but I hate that your character disappears after a loss. Also, some of the cards are really difficult to understand. Like, what does this do?

I follow Jake in every word he wrote. I wait as well for the day you realize your roguelite mistake. It´s so frustrating to see an CATC update and realize it´s just a few new features for the still boring roguelite. The basic gameplay of start a run, lose, and start over is just stupid nonsense. No fun at all. I would say it´s even not a game at all. But you made a great game which is really fun to play and that´s the old CATC version. I´m your patreon for 3 years now cause I love your work, I love HRT and CATC but actually you´re not working on any good game. So I suggest again: Stop that roguelite nonsense and go back to CATC. Me and many other fans of your work would be happy again.

I just found this and started playing CATC, and while I like the game overall the biggest thing problem I'm having with it right now is the camera. Is there any way to turn off the auto focusing so that I don't have to fix the camera every time someone makes a move?

Gameplay still a ton of fun, update's amazing, but I think I'm not the only one with the opinion that the roguelike form factor for a hentai game is a bit... odd. EDIT: Just delved deeper into the new update... Lots of new issues, game is basically unplayable. New slime enemies, although incredibly kinky and a welcome addition, basically stunlock you to buggery and back. Without card summons, this game is practically impossible. Also, from the first route I get hit with slave girls that deal 4-9 lust points of damage? This is a hentai game, not From Software.
