I’ve been experimenting with a semi-realistic art style for my next game project "The Devil made me do it", and I’m really happy with how it's turning out so far!

As part of this test, I focused heavily on pushing the quality of character design as far as I could. To make the process smoother and more accurate, I’ve adopted a workflow that relies on 3D models as a base reference.

Using 3D mannequins has been a game-changer for a few key reasons:

Proportions & Consistency: It guarantees that anatomy and scale stay accurate across different angles.

Complex Interactions: It makes posing characters interacting with each other so much easier and more convincing.

Body Diversity: It allows me to easily sculpt and test different body types for various characters while maintaining consistency throughout the project.

Take a look at the preview attached to this post and let me know what you think! Does this semi-realistic direction suit the vibe you’d like to see in the new game?

Nothing in this design is definitive.

As always, thank you so much for your support — having you here allows me to experiment and push my skills further with every project!
