Two fictional circuits taken from the Gran Turismo series, I've sticked them together to create an extra long layout. AI only works in the forward direction for now, I have a few kinks to work out. Hope everyone had a good holiday :)

Is there any chance you could revisit this amazing track and add some replay cameras?

Fyne.Ty

amazing!!!

KrissBoo

Brilliant. It feels like a well put together track and is so much fun. Only tried the combined forward so far but yeah nice job on this one mate

Eric Heick

Tried the first layout, and I get an error message

Hi Erick, Were you trying to load a race? The AI will only be workin gon the forward 'standard' versions of each track. Do you use content manager and custom shaders patch? Thanks, Tyrone.

KrissBoo

I was gonna mention this too, if I try and load the 1st track (the one that uses the cropped_outline pic) in any mode it throws an error. I loaded up forward combined and that was fine

MrJr

So the first layout does not load. Apparently there is no starting position. All other layouts work fine

Teslarossa4

I think it's because Tyrone accidentally put data from Merida into the track while he was developing it

I am so happy that I can finally race on my favourite circuit of all time - Midfield. There is another version of the Midfield circuit, but it's very 'arcadey' - fine if you want to an hour or so of remembering the 'good old days' of GT2, but not actually very realistic. Your version is in a completely different league. It's great to finally have a proper version of this track. And combining it with Apricot Hill was genius. That was never one of my favourite tracks, but I learned to love it. The full combined circuit takes a while to learn, but is well worth the effort.

I have noticed something odd about the 'Midfield Standard' track. The track surface seems to be incredibly slippery compared with the other layouts, to the point where some cars can't get down the start / finish straight without spinning. For example, if I try to do a 'Hotlap' in the latest version of the Pessio Garage Porknose, I cannot keep the car straight even at walking speed - the back tries to overtake the front and it goes into a huge tankslapper. Other cars do the same, to a lesser extent, but I haven't tested it extensively as repeatedly crashing into the barrier on a straight isn't much fun! I thought maybe it was my FF settings, but it happens whatever settings I use. Even more odd, the same section of track on the 'Combined' layout doesn't cause the same behaviour - the car drives perfectly normally. The phenomenon is most noticeable on the long downhill start / finish straight to the hairpin, but the uphill 'esses' section leading up to the tunnel is pretty slippery too. In the right car that should be flat out, but it feels like driving on glass. Could you please take a look and see if there really is an issue, or if I need to revisit my settings?

Tyrone - Racetracks & Models

Hi John, Thanks for your kind words re: Midfield and also Chase, i'll add the issue to my list of things to investigate, I can't promise a quick fix i'm afraid, as I can't say I've experienced this myself. Thanks, Tyrone

John Roberts

Yup. With the latest CSP 0.1.74-preview98 it's all working fine. So, nothing to see here. Sorry. My bad. Drove me nuts for a week, that.
