Buttonwillow Track #2 (as yet unnamed) (Patreon)

 Final post for the day,

Buttonwillow is having another track built right next to the existing one. It doesn’t have a name yet, so Buttonwillow Track #2 will have to do for now. This is an early version based on ‘drive through’ videos of the construction site – so could very likely be wrong in some areas, however this will be updated in the future as more information becomes available. After this I think I’ll cycle back around to some of my older tracks, and bring them up to scratch a bit, I’m looking at you Thunderhill, it’s been a while! And of course, there’s the new track at spring mountain to consider – so many tracks, so little time! Thanks,

Yes, use the link in the post. Please keep in mind this was done a while back before they'd laid any asphalt so it's a little different now.

The official track name is “Circuit”. Any idea how long until it’s updated? I have a couple of races there starting in October

I just joined as an annual member. I want to try this track first which is in your development. Reason, I am also a member of SimTraxx and want to see and compare your track to Konrads Button Willow track. SimTraxx does provide several different track configurations and I re-did all the AI lines because of some issues with doing AI racing on the SimTraxx Button Willow tracks. Take care.

Hi Tyrone, I would still like to stay a member because of all the tracks you have listed in the spreadsheet. You are working on some them, correct?? Besides trying out the Button Willow track, I also tried the San Diego Nascar 2025 track which I really enjoyed. I put a comment in the discord on the Button Willow track about the pit lane not working properly, evidently the pit area surfaces are not designated as PITS. Take care. Oh! Note: just watched of few you tube videos on the real Button Willow track. SimTraxx assetto corsa track configurations are of the Button Willow track from at least 3-4 years ago. Your track is like videos 6 months to current time. Interesting in how much that track has changed, I think. Take care.

There is already a version of the original track out and about. So probably not worth me doing another version?

I think the one from Simtraxxx is good enough to make it hard for Tyrone to justify doing 100% of the work to be just ~10% better.

Yes and no. It misses important bumps going into Riverside, coming into Phil Hill, etc. It's way too smooth. It also doesn't look that great. Would love a new version but all the other tracks are amazing too....

+1 for the original BW track. SW version is ok, but not great. It's missing a lot of the details others are mentioning. I race there in real life quite a bit, so I really notice the missing track details.
