Ridge Motorsport Park Release Candidate (Patreon)
Content
Hey, the work on Ridge continued and now it's ready for another release. I'm releasing this on Patreon as a public release candidate, as I don't expect any more significant changes.Downloadhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1K5r91FYYWPiKvKO-IEoi1ECh0mqpldTn/view?usp=sharing As usual with a project that was in it's early stages, and now is practically finished the changes are too many to list properly, so here's a breif summary. The List:
Separation of physical and visual track mesh, to allow for finer adjustments without re-doing the whole visual export every time.
Addition of the new layout with the uphill chicane.
Many, may track mesh changes.
Optimisations to track fences mesh.
flat kerbs no long ‘rumble’ when driven over.
Added the water tank thing.
Various other fixes.
track surface grip increased by 1%
fixed terrain clipping through kerbs.
fixed t9 hole.
added missing t9 kerbs.
added mountains up to like 36km away or something.
smoothed t1 entry for the alt layout.
added the sections file for the B layout.
fixed hole in terrain at the ridge complex.
lowered kerb on the left at entry into t13.
includes AI from @macko68.
Includes 2D crowds using the images provided from @Kniker97.
logos and sections from @Fanapryde.
recalculated normals on kerbs that were showing depth (despite the models being flat-ish).
Added the two flag poles (and bizzarely only one flag) at the entry to t13.
Added the overgrown area on the right at entry to T13, with some smaller trees as the base, then @Mike08 grassFX to bulk it out.
Added extra long grass onto the hill to the left following along with the s/f straight.
Added the one main grandstand at t9/10 and then two smaller tiny things that I think are grand stands?
two sets of Replay Cameras for each layout.
Mountains now included in both layouts.
Some materials changes, but nothing major.
RainFX.
Night Lights.
VAO patches for both layouts.
And lots of other things!
The cars in the screenshots are the BCRC M/E GT3 pack, they're available for free. More information can be found here.https://www.patreon.com/posts/bcrc-mods-gt3-86363846I've been enjoying them as they're essentially a balanced GT3 car with loads of different chasis chapes, which means close racing, even if the difference between cars physics isn't really expressed.
