Guys! Girls!

Creating patreon account I was thinking about sharing my knownledge with people who aspires to be a manga/anime artists, But I still don't know about your goals. I was thinking of making my patreon account something like a school for artists since I'm all through the path that led me to be an art director for mangas and animated movies. It took me years. But Im from Poland and had no clue how to get there- into asian's reality. I think I could make the whole process faster if I only have guidiance. I never had. Internet was my main course and I had a degree in graphic and fashion desing only; very far away from manga that is not my culture and not something you can learn in school. So I want you to take a little time and answer questions below so I have a better view of who my patrons are and what their goals are.

When I look at those options 1 and 3 you really have to think it through because its completely different and I want you to realize that. It's a different job to produce a manga or anime movie then being a concept artist. Its rare to keep both. If you really mean it., it's a big thing you want to spare part of your life for. Nowadays it seem everything to be easy, BUT IT'S NOT, and every course that tells you that, is simply lying. There are no easy paths, there are some shortcuts, but you still will hae to give up a grand part of your life for practise, work and exercises.

And if youre serious, you have to organize your goals. After all you pay for it. You want something in exchange.

Please add your comment also. I want to know who you are and what your goal is

I’m still aiming to bring my own visual novel to life. Your work has greatly helped me improve my human anatomy and skills and I’m forever grateful and I will keep supporting you for as long as I’m able!!

I would love to get to a part where I am selling my art. I know how difficult it can be selling original art, but I want to try and get to a point where I can take commissions.

my main goal as been to write and draw my own manga/ graphic novel, but my art is still REALLY bad especially with drawing characters over and over so for now I'm practicing with bases and references, hopefully one day I'll be able to do it ^^

I want to improve my art skills overall, and be able to use references as references instead of just tracing. understanding proportions, doing the basics well and bringing life to my art instead of the static lifeless things I draw now. I want my art to have personality.. to learn my style and replicate it too. This is probably too many goals lol

I'm already a working artist who just wants to improve my skills overall, and your references are wonderful! They've really been helpful in studying to help me understand dynamic poses better. I really appreciate all you do here.

I am a bit of 3 and mostly 2. A side goal of mine is to make characters for scifi novel (maybe Manga). I love worldbuilding.

4th option: using your bases and references to learn blender characters and character poses for a game I'm making xD but I took "manga/anime/book" choice! <3

My main goal is to continue to support an artist I love as long as I am able to, beyond the one time purchases of my character sheets. I do enjoy the bases and references and they are useful, but I have slowed down considerably in my drawing and rarely do so anymore... even less when it comes to people.

I don't really have specific art goals in mind. Doing art for money, even the very few times I've done commissions just seems to drain me. I follow a lot of artists with different styles for references to work on developing my own. I've followed you since I saw you on DeviantArt because of the character sheets you did and I've always wanted to try that for character concepts. The closest I'd get to a graphic novel would be just strips or a random scene or two from my short stories.

Hi! My goal is to make art for living :)

my goal is closest to being an artist, but it's not that binary and I don't care about being pro. I want to be able to visualize things better in my head so I can put them into words. the way I have chosen to exercise that is by understanding the form of the character and your stuff is well done. A good reference can be worth a thousand bad sketches. I can't say what I do personally is more than doodles and it takes me FOREVER to do something I am satisfied with but5 my visualization has gotten better.
