Until the man teasing the statue suddenly realizes it’s becoming harder for him to move, and eventually he cannot move as he feels a slow, calming cool come over him 🖤

This reminds me of the 'It's Art' story. I imagined Matteo would either join or replace his model as a mannequin.

I like the idea of the statue being transformed and must remain a statue until another man takes its place. It could be stuck as a statue for 30 minutes or 30 years, but once it consents, the transformation begins and it cannot be reversed until someone else consents to taking its place.
